The truth is, I never intended to become an entrepreneur…

It was never part of my grand plan to start my own business or fly solo as an entrepreneur.  Sure, I’d occasionally daydream about the perks of being self-employed like setting my own hours, not answering to anyone but me and doing work I loved.  But all that seemed like a pipe dream meant for people with the money or the guts to buck the system and carve out their own path.

…definitely not me. 

So, saddled with expectation, obligation and the belief that the path to success (as told to me by every parent, teacher and adult I knew) was to be found in going to school, getting a good job and making lots of money; that’s exactly what I did.
